Training offered by RPM Trucking Industry Safety
RPM offers a number of training courses directed at both Safety Program Certification and Program Development.
Certification courses are organized by both company size and by the jurisdiction they are regulated by (Federal or Provincial) for workplace health and safety.

Safety Program Certification Courses
To meet the training requirements for RPM - Safe Work Certification, you must complete certain training modules based on the size of your company.
For trucking companies with 20 employees or more the SAFE Work Certified module requires 4 courses to be taken. They are Safety & Health Leadership, Principles of Safety & Health Management, Maintenance Auditor, and Safety & Health Committee.
Companies with 2 to 19 employees are required to follow the SAFE Work Certified Guided module. This training path also requires 4 courses. They are Safety & Health Leadership, Principles of Safety & Health Management, Maintenance Auditor, and Safety Representative.
Independent Operators are considered to be a 1 operator with 1 truck operation. It’s recommended you contact us for more information regarding this unique path to certification.

Safety Program Development Courses
Program Development courses reflect the varied elements of a safety and health program as outlined in the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Act and Regulation and Canada Labour Code Part II.
Each course focuses on a seperate element and includes templates and materials to make them easily adaptable to an individual workplace.
